La Place du Pilori À la fin du Moyen Age, cette maison jouxait, côté sud, le quartier occupé par les chanoines de la cathédrale avec l'hospice et, côté ouest, le marché et la halle au blé avec les mesures en pierre. Tout près, l'attraction était le pilori où étaient exposés et suppliciés les délinquants que la justice comtale avait condamnés. Cette demeure d'un seul bloc, bâtie en pierre, sans cour intérieure (fin XVe- XVIe siècle) donnait sur la rue par une façade très sobre, avec un encorbellement à pan-de-bois. La tour de l'escalier à vis est couronnée par une pièce panoramique qui surplombe les toits.
English translation: The Pillory Square At the end of the Middle Ages, on the south side, this house adjoined the district occupied by the canons of the cathedral with the hospice and, on the west side, the market and the corn market with stone measurements. Nearby, the attraction was the pillory where the criminals who had been condemned by the county justice were exposed and tortured. This single-block dwelling, built of stone, with no inner courtyard (end of the 15th-16th century) overlooked the street with a very sober façade, with a wooden corbelled ceiling. The tower of the spiral staircase is crowned by a panoramic room that overlooks the roofs.
