Firhill Well. The "Gibberie" (gingerbread) Well so called as persons sold gingerbread there especially on Sundays. Noted from 1721 for its curative properties. Removed by the town council from its original site 40 yeards to the north-east of this point for the making of a new street and re-built on its present site 1987.
