The Victoria Hotel Formally a coaching inn known as Rainhill Tavern. It was renamed when Queen Victoria arrived by train in Rainhill en route to Croxteth Hall in 1851. The building has seen meetings, auctions and the inquest into the deaths of Deeming’s murder victims.
