Ginocchio Hotel and Restaurant. Built in 1896 by C. A. Ginocchio to serve the Transcontinental Railway passenger traffic to the west. Four hundred meals a day were provided for travelers stopping at "Gateway to Texas". Hotel was considered luxurious. A fine example of Victorian architecture. Stairway of curly pine is unique.
