Kyneton Savings Bank. A savings bank opened in Piper Street in 1861, moved here in 1884, became a branch of the State Savings Bank, then merged with the Commonwealth Bank in 1991. The building is brick with a rendered facing. Notable features are the windows and entrance with classical details and the balustraded parapet above. The design by architects Caselli & Figgis was later used at Maryborough and Warrnambool.
