This plaque was unveiled on the 16th September 1992 by the club president Nat Lofthouse in remembrance of the 33 supporters who lost their lives at the F.A. Cup 6th round match, Bolton Wanderers v Stoke City, Saturday 9th March 1946

Plaque is now found above the checkout tills inside the Asda supermarket built 2005 on the site of Bolton's former ground Burnden Park where the disaster occurred. Another plaque naming the 33 fans who lost their lives is placed by the exit to the store.
