The Foundry 1874-1976 Founded by Cox & Son Under A.B. Burton from 1897-1933 the most famous bronze statues of the British Empire including the Peace Quadriga at Hyde Park Corner were cast here.

The plaque talks about the period 1897-1933 under Arthur Bryan Burton, but doesn't mention Arthur John Hollinshead who was Burton's partner until his untimely death in 1902. The company was called "Hollinshead and Burton". Many fine statutes were made in Hollinshead's time, including all the statues of Queen Victoria made for her diamond jubilee. src: Ian Marlow, great-great-grandson of Arthur Hollinshead
