St. Vincent Formerly known as Forton Barracks this was the home of the Portsmouth Division Royal Marine Light Infantry from 29th March 1848 until 1st August 1923. The Barracks became HMS St. Vincent Naval training establishment from May 1927 until Dec. 1968. St. Vincent School was established on this site in 1974 and became St. Vincent College in 1987.
