This plaque was presented to the residents of Dierden Street by R.G. Barton Esq J.P. Chairman of the Winsford Urban District Council for General Excellence in the thanksgiving parade of Winsford Street Groups held on Oct. 6 1945 in celebration of the victory of the allies over Germany and Japan 1939-1945
