Ronald William Raven, O.B.E, (Mil.) T.D., O.St. J., F.R.C.S., Hon. F.R.S.M., Internationally renowned cancer surgeon was born in this house on 28th July, 1904. He died in London on 24th October, 1991 at the Royal Free Hospital where the Ronald Raven Professorial Chair in clinical oncology has been established
