Former Pretoria Avenue School - Erected in 1888 by Walthamstow School Board, and included the Rt Hon Arthur Bottomley MP, one-time Mayor of Walthamstow as a former pupil. In 1955 it became a Special Needs School and in 1988 the first Disability Resource Centre in England
