The Old Post Office Site of Newport's first head post office. Built in 1844 and rebuilt in 1907, the Edwardian facade being preserved in the total reconstruction of the island site in 2001. Once housed the town's first telephone exchange, known as the Savoy. Listed Grade II in 1985.
