Petters Hotel

The Round House In 1860 Garrick Street was opened to improve access to Covent Garden Market and the theatres. Garrick Street became so popular that this public house was opened in 1868 as the 'Petters Hotel" and for the next 75 years became a famous watering hole for visitors to the theatre and market tradesmen alike. In 1943 the "Petters Hotel" was renamed The Round House to compliment the unmistakable shape of the building, Apart from the name change, little has altered including the pub's reputation for serving a fine range of ales to its many visitors.
