Il consiglio del comune decreto questa memoria al degno patriota che pur dal carcere e dall'esilio propugno la libertá ma per sé sola. Ammirato ovunque per la sapienza delle lettere e la dignitá della vita.
English translation: At the bottom of this corner is the house where Salvatore Chindemi was born goodbye 19 January 1808 m. goodbye 3 February 1814.
