This land & river bank were given by JOHN CROSSLEY & JOSHUA DAWSON to The Overseers of the Poor of Addingham in 1685-1686 for the perpetual benefit of village residents. The ownership & income were transferred by order of The Charity Commission in 1972 to Addingham United Charity.
