Leon Bix Beiderbecke 1903-1931 The legendary cornetist made his New York debut at the Cinderella Dance Palace (then housed in this building) on September 12, 1924, with the Wolverine Orchestra. He was later featured with the Jean Goldkette & Paul Whiteman Orchestras.
