Wikidata WikipediaThe Harrow was an online magazine for fantasy and horror fiction, poetry, and reviews, launched in January 1998 by founder and editor-in-chief Dru Pagliassotti. The magazine has an all-volunteer editorial staff and reviewer pool and uses a double blind review system that provides authors with individualized feedback on their submissions. In 2008, The Harrow was published on the first of each month using Open Journal Systems software. From 2009, The Harrow staff are taking a break and the journal is not in production at the moment.

The Harrow The Harrow is over 200 years old, although a Public House is known to have stood on this site for longer. The original Harrow consisted of just the larger downstairs bar. The back bar which must be one of the smallest in the City was once a tailors shop where Oliver Goldsmith's tailor worked. As the newspaper industry grew, so did the number of people in the area, the pub was extended into this adjoining shop. The story goes that his ghost may still be heard at work here.
