No.63 High Street Bank House was built in 1835 as a late Georgian Town House and was formerly a Bank Manager's house. Its block pedimented doorway and the original window glazing make it distinctive. Its first occupant was Charles McAra, The Sheriff Clerk who was famous for putting gloves on his head to hide his baldness.
