Rogers Cemetery. A plantation family burial ground. Established by planter-stagecoach owner-area leader Edwin Green Rogers (1800-70?) and wife Nancy (Tuggle) on their home grounds, a Republic of Texas grant to Nancy's mother, Mrs. Sarah Mercer.
