John Ruskin 1819-1900 man of letters lived in a house on this site
Plaque dated 1925 to a unique design, fastened to a wooden post in front garden. This replaced a plaque erected in 1909 on house subsequently demolished
by administered by English Heritage as part of the London wide plaque scheme and London County Council in 1926
