Messrs Waite, Rose and Taylor opened the first Waitrose shop here in 1904
The original Waite, Rose and Taylor store was opened here in 1904. In 1908 with the departure of Taylor it became the now familiar 'Waitrose'. The plaque is brass and is in the pavement outside 263 Acton High Street.
