Terence Donovan 1936-1996 photographer worked here 1978-1996
This plaque states that Terence worked there from 1978, but we are informed by Clive Baldwin that this is an error. Clive says, "It was indeed a photographic studio from the early 70s but was leased until 1982 by a Brentford sales promotion agency called SP&M Ltd. I know this because I worked there until 1982 when Terence took over the studio. He came round on numerous occasions during 1982, and with another photographer friend of mine, Martin Beckett (http://www.martinbeckett.co.uk/) I visited him shortly after he'd taken over. He'd painted the old black walls and ceilings brilliant white!"
