The world's oldest horse Old Billy 1760-1822
Verified to be 62 at his death, Old Billy was the longest-lived horse on record. He worked as a barge horse in England. Old Billy was said to look like a big cob/shire horse. His lithograph was published, showing Old Billy, with Henry Harrison, who had known the animal for fifty-nine years. Billy's skull now resides in the Manchester Museum.
