Centennial Celebration In commemoration of the visit of President Theodore Roosevelt's "Great White Fleet" to Seattle in May of 1908. From here the fleet continued on their famous round the world cruise. Dedicated May 20, 2008, by Mayor Greg Nickels, the Propeller Club of Seattle, the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce and the Navy League of the United States -- Seattle Council.
