Dame Gladys Constance Cooper 1888-1971 Actor with a 70-year career on stage & TV. She was nominated three times for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, for Now, Voyager (1942), The Song of Bernadette (1943) and as Mrs Higgins, in My Fair Lady (1964).
