This plaque was erected to replace an earlier one at an incorrect address which has since been removed: http://openplaques.org/plaques/5494 see https://diamondgeezer.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html#2079159589220244511 This black plaque was itself removed shortly afterwards - it had disappeared by November 2015 and was subsequently replaced, at some point in 2017, with a more standard style brown 'London Borough of Hackney' design - see http://openplaques.org/plaques/39671 The reason for this second replacement is unclear. It has been speculated that the non-standard black plaque was a stop-gap.
