Swan & Angel These licensed premises are named after two of St Ives long lost pubs, marked on an early 18th-century town map. They stood on the site of the public house next door but one to this building. The Swan and The Angel long served the weekly market known as the "Monday Market?. The building where you are now was built as a supermarket soon after two three-storey properties had been demolished, in 1968. Number 8 Market Hill had housed Miller's music shop. Before c1940, it had been Radford's household furnishers for about 60 years.
