Pionnier de la Résistance Bressane, responsable du mouvement Libération. il diffusa avec sa soeur Louise les idées de la Résistance auprès de la population de Bourg-en-Bresse et des élèves du lycée Lalande. Dénoncé et arrêté à Bourg-en-Bresse en Juin 1943, il meurt en déportation au camp de Flossembourg.
