Horner Way The road was named after John Horner who died on 11th February 1997 aged 85 years. John Horner was the Member of Parliament for Oldbury and Halesowen from 1964 to 1970 and is also remembered for his significant contribution to the Fire Brigade both in service and as General Secretary of the Fire Brigades Union between 1939 and 1964.
