Chapel of St Mary on the Bridge One of six surviving in this country, a bridge chapel has stood here since the thirteenth century. The present building was restored in 1930 and is served by the clergy of Derby Cathedral

The 13th Century chapel of St Mary on the Bridge enlarged about 1400 AD was restored in 1930 by the Derbyshire Archaeological society as a memorial to Sir Arthur Haslam through the generosity of his family.
