The flagpole adjacent to this memorial was generously donated by Mr Richard Miller-Yardley O.B.E. as his tribute to all who served at Royal Air Force Lichfield. This gift, and the tireless efforts of he and his wife Peggi Miller-Yardley M.B.E. for the community of Fradley are greatly appreciated.
