Kate Greenaway 1846-1901 artist lived & died here
This unique rectangular panel of deep-blue Poole Pottery manufacture, with an attractive floral border, was specially crafted so as to avoid diminishing the visual allure of Greenaway's home and studio, an 1884 'Arts and Crafts' house designed for her by Richard Norman Shaw. The inclusion of the year of installation is most unusual for the LCC.
