Adrian John Pilgrim (1948-2013) For many years Adrian Pilgrim lived opposite this shelter. He was a remarkable man; a scholar, poet, musician and pioneer of the Manx language revival. He loved the trams and all the railways of this island. The Baldrine Tram Shelter, built in 1899, was restored in his memory by the MER in 2014 at the request of his friends.
