Jacob Nelson "Nellie" Fox. 1997 Baseball Hall of Fame inductee. Second baseman for the Chicago White Sox (1950-1963). Known for his passion and work ethic, Fox was an AL MVP (1959), a 3-time Gold Glove Award winner, and a 12-time All-Star. His boyhood home stands nearby.
