The First Presbyterian Church, being the first church in Tulsa was founded here to the glory of God Sunday, October 5, 1885. This plaque is dedicated by the congregation of The First Presbyterian Church, Tulsa Sunday, October 6, 1985 celebrating the first one-hundred years.

The Oklahoma Natural Gas Company Building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on 10 April 1984 by the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, Department of the Interior, Washington, D.C. Constructed in 1928, the building is recognized as one of the United States’ premier examples of the zigzag Art Deco style of architecture.

OKLAHOMA NATURAL GAS COMPANY BUILDING. The 1905 discovery of the world's richest oil field, the Glenn Pool, brought drastic changes to Tulsa. By 1912, buildings began appearing to house the lords of this new petroleum empire. In July, 1926, the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company moved from Oklahoma City to Tulsa, and construction began on this building which would become its corporate headquarters. Joseph Koberling, Jr. and Frederick V. Kershner, from the ofice of Tulsa architect Arthur M. Atkinson, were chosen as the designers. They called their newest creation a "monumental enterprise" and introduced their style of zigzag art deco design on one Of Tulsa's earliest "skyscrapers."
