This milepost was donated by Narrow Boat Magazine on 6th December 1984 to commemorate ten years of work at Ellesmere Port and is dedicated to the founders of the North West Museum of Inland Navigation, Harry Arnold, Peter Proud, Tony Lewery, Dr David Owen and Edward Paget-Tomlinson
