The studio is 'said to have been' an early residence of J.M.W. Turner. which is to say there is absolutely no hard evidence to support this claim. Many notable artists have however been residents of houses in Glebe Place. Turner Studios, which we are asked to believe is a former studio of one of the most eminent English artists of all time, is not a listed building. Make of this what you will.
