Former Denton Hat Mills is registered by Heritage Council Victoria. This former factory, built in stages from c.1888 to the 1940s, was Australia's first steam powered hat factory and a leading exporter of hats. Prominent architect William Pitt designed early 20th century additions to the complex. Collingwood Historical Society 2007.
