General Francisco De Miranda lived at 58 Grafton Way from 1802-1810

English Heritage plaques commemorating De Miranda and Andrés Bello were affixed to the same building in 1996. Another plaque, to De Miranda and Simon Bolivar which was erected by the British Council in 1942 can also be found there.
