English translation: "Henry IV High School: In 510, Clovis founded here a sanctuary dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul, where he was buried in 511, and Saint Geneviève in 512. Towards the end of the 6th century, transformed into an abbey, it owns much of the area south to Saint-Médard. From the church, rebuilt around 1180, remains the so-called tower of Clovis. There are still the 13th century refectory, the cloister (1746), buildings and an 18th century staircase. The 80000 volumes and 2000 manuscripts were transferred to the library of Sainte-Geneviève. The abbey was affected by teaching as early as 1796: Napoleon High School (1804) and Henri IV (1815). The sons of Louis Philippe, Musset, Scribe, Sainte-Beuve, Viollet-Le-Duc and Haussmann were taught there. [AWS Translate]"
